David Sullivan Potter

" Discovering clay later in life, my work focuses on natural hand thrown stone ware following traditional methods. I enjoy using a kick wheel and the free expression from creating bespoke functional studio pottery" says Mahurangi Olives' potter David Sullivan.

Having built a Ceramic Studio at our olive grove and accumulated a few kick wheels, David's primary interest is in creating useful vessels and domestic ware with a strong 70's influence.

From cups to bowls, bottles and jugs, storage jars and teapots and serving plates, you can find something of interest and will enjoy perusing the Pottery Studio while exploring the process of creating with your own hands.
